Let’s celebrate the 44th International Museum day

Did you know that International Museum Day was established by the International Council of Museums (ICOM) in 1977 to raise public awareness of the role of museums in the development of society, and it has been steadily gaining momentum ever since? For the 2021 edition, ICOM chose the theme “The Future of Museums: Recover and Reimagine” in a bid to encourage museums, professionals and partners in the field of museology and cultural heritage to promote cooperation and jointly share new practices of creation of new values for cultural institutions, propose new solutions and business and cooperation models for museums and other cultural institutions so that they can correspond to the socio-economic development of the present.
