More than 270 documents, photos and artefacts on display revealed the atrocities of the colonial and imperial forces against people in Nghệ Tĩnh Province (divided into Nghệ An and Hà Tĩnh provinces in 1991), including victims in prisons and  air raids in North Vietnam, and under bombing attacks and chemical sprays. Additionally, the exhibits showed post-war efforts to overcome difficulties of the locals and war victims in the two provinces.
